What I Build

A collection of practical resources, local publishing, and community tools built to make Northeast Georgia a little easier to navigate.

The person behind the projects

Meet Chris

Real estate is how I serve people professionally, but it’s only part of what I do.

I'm Chris “Casper the Friendly Realtor” Casper.

I believe local communities work better when information is easy to find, neighbors know what's happening around them, and people have someone they can trust when they need help.

Over the past few years, I've built several local projects designed to connect people with their community. Cork on a String highlights the interesting people, places, and stories around Barrow County. Roadside Real Estate breaks down homeowner topics into practical, easy-to-understand advice. Muscadine helps residents discover locally owned businesses and services without digging through dozens of websites. Through Market, I'm building a growing collection of real estate resources, market insights, and homeowner guides for Northeast Georgia.

Whether you're buying a home, looking for a local business, need a document notarized, or simply enjoy learning more about where you live, I hope something I've built makes your day a little easier.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me exploring back roads, taking photographs, talking with local business owners, or dreaming up the next project that helps connect people with their community.

Welcome. I'm glad you're here. Take a look around. I think you'll find something worth exploring.

Beyond the work

A Few Things About Me

The projects make more sense once you know a little about the person behind them.

Usually carrying a camera

A lot of Cork starts with noticing something small enough that most people drive past it.

Drawn to back roads

Quiet roads, changing intersections, old storefronts, and the edges between what was here and what is coming next.

Echo and Chandler wrestling together at home

Dog dad to Echo & Chandler

Two very different personalities, both fully convinced they are helping with every project.

Always talking with local business owners

Some of the best ideas come from listening to what people are building, fixing, serving, and trying to make work in their own corner of the community.

There is usually another idea waiting just behind the one I am working on now.

Which is how Cork, Roadside, Market, and Muscadine all happened

Proud to call Northeast Georgia home

The landscape, the people, the pace, and the constant mix of old roads and new growth are at the center of nearly everything I build.

I like building useful things

Not just websites or publications—systems, resources, and small points of connection that make everyday life easier to navigate.
